Hello there Marzipan! I love your tutorials and denigss they are just so cute <3. I'm normally a hand sew kind of person but lately I've been thinking I need to upgrade to a sewing machine and I'm afraid I have no idea where to start. I was wondering if you could give me some things to look for in a machine and maybe a recommendation for something in the less expensive range? Keep up the excellent videos!

Hi, Kira! A sewing mancihe is a great investment. The best advice I can give you is to purchase it from a real sewing mancihe shop, not a big-box retail store. At a shop, they will let you test the mancihes, knowledgeable staff will point out slight differences between models, and most stores offer free beginner's classes to acquaint you with your mancihe. They also offer excellent repair service and support. You may end up paying slightly more, but it will be worth it, because you'll end up with a mancihe you love (and know how to use)! Best of luck!
